CIOE 2026 Wrap-Up: Live 1G-800G Interop Demos in Shenzhen

Our team is back from CIOE 2026 in Shenzhen, where the 1G-800G transceiver line ran in continuous interoperability demos on mainstream switch platforms and most of our time went into answering selection and compatibility questions.

Our team is back from CIOE 2026 in Shenzhen. It was our first major exhibition since Wuhan Dagu Intelligent Technology was registered in 2026, and most of the time on the booth went into two things: running live interoperability demos, and working through detailed selection questions with visitors.

What was on the booth

The full optical transceiver portfolio was on display, from 1G SFP through 10G SFP+, 25G SFP28, 40G and 100G QSFP+, 200G QSFP56, 400G QSFP-DD and 800G OSFP / QSFP-DD800. Alongside them were the fiber patch cords, AOC / DAC assemblies and industrial switch range that usually ship with transceivers as part of the same project.

Interoperability, shown rather than claimed

Compatibility is the first question any buyer asks, and it is a fair one. Rather than answer it with a datasheet, we kept modules running in switches throughout the show so visitors could read the DOM values, check link status and see the platform recognise the module themselves. Live demos settle arguments that spec sheets never do.

The conversations that followed were mostly practical: which 100G variant suits an existing fiber plant, how far a 25G BIDI link will really go on a single strand, what temperature grade an outdoor cabinet needs, and how to plan a migration from 10G to 25G without pulling new cable.

Where to go from here

If we met at the show and did not get to finish a conversation, or if you could not attend, the selection guides on this site cover most of the questions that came up. For anything specific to your platform, send us the switch model and the reach you need — we will confirm compatibility before you order rather than after.

Samples are available for testing on your own equipment, which remains the most reliable way to validate a third-party transceiver.
